Eleven new and emerging businesses throughout Central Highlands are coming together to ‘Do It for Themselves’ tomorrow Wednesday 1st May.
They are attending a FREE fully booked out, DIY Website workshop at Ballarat Learning Exchange in Camp St Ballarat. The workshop aims to offer businesses a cost-effective solution to getting online and marketing goods and services through construction of a dynamic but simple five page website. The training will take the businesses through a step by step process of website design. The workshop will be followed up with individual practical assistance to ensure the website goes ‘live’.
The workshop and mentoring is provided through the Central Highlands Digital Enterprise project. It is an Australian Government funded initiative delivered locally through University of Ballarat’s Centre for eCommerce and Communications. Four regional Council’s and State Government are supporting the project.
The Training, comprising group workshops and practical mentoring, is being conducted in advance of the roll-out of the National Broadband Network.
